Hours before Grammy Award Winning pop singer Ciara debuted her new single, “Body Party”, “Diamonds” singer Rihanna sent out a subliminal diss on instagram. The picture of Rihanna and her friends laying in bed mockingly, laughing at Ciara lit up the Twitter World. Best friend of the Barbadian beauty, Melissa Forde took to Twitter and sent even more disses, she tweeted:
“All of y'all #Csquad dummies need to get the phuck off my timeline n head to ITunes ???? CSquad x $1.99= sum $$$” (The #CSquad is the name of Ciara fans)
In a recent interview Forde was very forthcoming about Ciara. Melissa Forde told NEW TIMES PHOENIX, “You know some people shouldn't be so sensitive. We’re helping her though, she got a free commercial.” However others argue that Rihanna’s diss has more to do with Ciara’s new beau, rapper Future.
Sources close to Ciara allege that Rihanna attempted to pick the Rapper while recording their song “Loveeeeeee Song”. “Rihanna really wanted to date Future, but he wasn't into her like that. And now he’s with Ciara, Rihanna’s old rival and she’s jealous.”
Rihanna is currently involved in an on-and-off relationship with troubled R&B headliner Chris Brown. Rihanna did send out subliminal insults to Chris Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran, while she was dating Chris.
This however isn’t the first time the two dueled, back in 2011, Ciara stated that Rihanna was very mean to her during a party. Rihanna immediately took to Twitter and sent a series of disses and insinuated that Ciara was a stripper. Ciara’s single “Body Party” has obtained a large amount of Air Play prior to its official release. Many are touting the single Ciara’s comeback single.
