Island Def Jam Music Artist Daniel Gray to Release New Single “For The Sake Of Fame”

Dance/Pop music artist Daniel Gray has been hard at work writing and recording the follow up to his critically acclaimed album “INVICTUS”, which yielded the hit singles “Lost & Found”, “Cast Away” and “Automatic”.

This time around the “Bombastic” singer is back with his new highly anticipated electro/dance single “FOR THE SAKE OF FAME”. The single will premiere simultaneously on radio stations and be available immediately on all digital music platforms Tuesday, October 11th at 12AM EST, with a video release to follow in November 2011.

“For The Sake Of Fame” is produced by new Daniel Gray collaborator DJ Dirty Boy and is the official lead single from his forthcoming album. The as-yet-untitled sophomore album is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012.

Daniel Gray says of his new single, “For The Sake Of Fame”, “The song is a trip-pop, fun thesis statement for my new album. I’m very excited for everyone to hear it because I have worked so hard on this new collection of songs.” The single is said to have the sound of dance/pop artist Robyn mixed with digital distribution label mate Rihanna and a dash of Ke$ha and Lily Allen for lyrical content.

Daniel Gray has also finalized two huge deals. He has signed on for digital distribution with the ISLAND DEF JAM (Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber) digital portal, as well as a new management deal with New York superstar manager, STEPHEN SCHULMAN (The Glamazons, Josh Zuckerman and Athena Reich).

Nick Cannon Appearing In Long Island New York Finally After Birth of Baby Twins

Multi-talented star Nick Cannon of MTV's The Nick Cannon show, WildnOut, NBC's the Nick Cannon show, and morning radio star of CBS's 92.3 NOW will be appearing and hosting a party at SILK Ultralounge in Long Island for the first time this Thursday May 19th. This appearance was initially planned about three weeks ago but that plan was altered due to the early arrival of his baby twins with Mariah Carey.

In a video released for the benefit of the club and to dispel all doubts, Nick promises all his fans that he would be there this time without question and jokes that he might even bring his kids along. He is expected to be at the club for close to two hours and take over the mic and even perform a couple of DJ sets. Organizers of the event plan this to be the summer coming out party as most colleges in Long Island go to recess for the semester. Other attraction include contests and prize giveaway from various sponsors including a tanning establishment, a renown Long Island tattoo studio, a bar tending school, and an online tutoring company.

Nick is well known for his acting, comedy, and as an all around great show and party host and the event is unlikely to lack for excitement and entertainment. He also just released his new CD Mr ShowBiz. Recently, he has actively taken on other causes including working on Food Drives with the Feeding America Council and hopes to use his platform to highlight and attract attention to those issues as well.
