Shawna P voice brings his talents to the stage during the season 4 knockout round where coaches fits your team in half, bringing to 16 the total number of remaining contestants. The round of last sixteen part 1 and 2 air Monday, April 29, 2013 and 30 April 2013 at 20 East standard time respectively.
Shawna P decided to be on the team of Shakira after getting the interest of Shakira and Adam Levine with his rendition of "She talks to Angels" during the blind audition. The blind audition is the first round where the judges select members to join their team to the hearing only the contestant to sing. "The blind audition was the most incredible experience of my career. I am so excited to work with Shakira,"says Shawna P.
During the battle of Ronda, Shawna P competed against fellow Brandon Rousch while singing "Piece Of My Heart" together. Shawna P was chosen by Shakira as the winner of the round, moving to compete in the knockout round.
